Colossians 3:14-16

¹⁴ Above all, clothe yourselves with love, which binds us all together in perfect harmony. ¹⁵ And let the peace that comes from Christ rule in your hearts. For as members of one body you are called to live in peace. And always be thankful.

 ¹⁶ Let the message about Christ, in all its richness, fill your lives. Teach and counsel each other with all the wisdom he gives. Sing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs to God with thankful hearts.

Answered Prayer

The team concurred that God answered every prayer and desire of our heart on this day of ministry, and we are praising Him for that! Today, we went to Grand Central Station and set up a prayer station. It was such a beautiful and glorious time for the Lord! We were able to sing worship and pray aloud on the subway train to our destination. When we arrived, we were so excited because of our joy in the Lord. Actually, Melanie, Kayleigh, and Rachel danced like crazy for the Lord, and eventually even Gigi and Mr. Gaines did as well! God totally blessed our day! God did a mighty work today, all day! For further detail, this was Mr. Gaines experience:

God is so awesome! His Spirit was indeed at work.  He gave me the honor and privilege of leading a gentleman named, “Obey” to Christ.  What a real answer to pray as this man sought out the Lord and found Him.  Also pray for Christine, a young woman who has lost all of her possessions due to the recent flooding in the New York area.  She was so happy to find people who would just listen and pray with her.  These are just two of the stories that were commonplace during our payer station experience at he Times Square subway station.

Again, it would bring you readers greater joy and encouragement to speak to the team member’s themselves! Keep praying, because we are all at a place where the enemy is persistently seeking to destroy. It’s also important to keep this team accountable for when we come home, but also be encouraging to our spiritual journey. Praise God for this trip, He is so good!

God’s Heart

God showed us where His heart is at by meeting with His broken creations. God covered our judgment with His love and mercy. With a crazy amount of prayer and worship, God was with us and blessed us all day! Even at times when we felt the enemy trying to destroy us, God refreshed His spirit in order to keep glorifying Him! I could give a huge page of details, but God has exhausted us with service and it’s time for bed :) We went to the park today to serve soup and fellowship with the poor, and we ended the day by going to the Brooklyn Tabernacle. But I want you readers to personally ask the members on this team (Kayleigh, Rachel, Melanie, Michelle, Tiara, Marcus, Drew, Gigi, and Mr. Gaines) how their day was! Because you all will be blown away by the mini miracles God conducted through us! Pray for even more strength, because Satan is attacking hard, and especially since the weather will be nasty tomorrow. Also, it will be the most intense day for ministry, so pray hard for us!
